REMINDER: Meeting is Tonight! Rocky Ripple Floodwall Status Update Meeting with DPW on Wed. Dec 8, 2021

Rocky Ripple Residents:

Please be advised that our next Rocky Ripple Floodwall Status Update meeting with Indianapolis Department of Public Works (DPW) has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 6 pm at the Rocky Ripple Town Hall.

We hope you will be able to attend and hear the current status of the flood wall project, which is now well into the Design stage and will soon enter the Construction Planning stage.  The presentation portion of the meeting will also be shared via Zoom for those that cannot attend the live meeting. The meeting can be accessed via Zoom here: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89665624874

Representatives from DPW and AECOM will be present to explain current status and project plans for the next year.  The presentation will be followed by stations/tables set up for individuals to ask questions of the DPW/AECOM representatives present.

As most of you know, Rocky Ripple Town Councilors have been meeting monthly with Indianapolis Department of Public Works (DPW) to discuss and plan for the proposed Rocky Ripple floodwall for almost two years now.  The floodwall design team has been involved during the past several months and will be providing specifics regarding plans for construction and associated timelines.  Further refinements to the plan will continue as the project progresses.  Construction of the wall is still estimated to begin in 2022.

We hope to see you there.  If you cannot attend, please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have regarding this important initiative.

Sincerely,

Your Town Councilors

Megan Hulland                                      Mandy Redmond                                      Randy Sanders
