Flood Gates on Bridges
To be clear to everyone. The flood gates at 52nd and 53rd street will stay open as long as possible. But if the levee breaches, they will need to close it to save thousands of other homes. We could start seeing peak levels starting at 2 AM.
Please heed the warnings and head out. There is no waiting until morning.
Once those gates are closed, the only way out will be by boat.
