friday the 21st Update
We have a church group and the boy scouts are organizing some help to come in this weekend with volunteers for clean up, moving things, etc. We wanted to know if there could be two or three people to help organize this? If so, reach out to me by texting 317-431-0091. I have their contact information.
We are still waiting on a number to get the bagsters picked up when ready.
From Charlie Morgan-Please join us Sunday, at Hohlt Park, for a thank you concert for all the volunteers who helped during the flood. There will be food for everyone. Activities for the kids. Music starts at 4p. We hope to see you there!
Bailey Sims and friends are offering the following on Saturday
Join us this Saturday August 22nd from 3-5pm at the Hohlt Park pavilion for a time of reflection & processing. A small team of trauma-informed mental health professionals (also residents of Rocky Ripple) will be holding space for residents/neighbors to come share their experience of last weekend.
There will be an adult-only group led by Andrea Mariani, Heidi Fledderjohn, Ash Crofoot, and myself. If the group is large we will break into small groups. There will also be a play/art/nature processing group for children led by Calle Tinkham & Chip Calwell.
Childcare provided (as in 1-2 adults will watch children on the playground) and children can come and go between the process group and playground.
This event impacted all of us differently and this is a judgement free space to show up and process as needed. We will have a table of handouts and resources for you to take home with you as well.
We'd love to get a headcount so if you think you're likely to come, please add your name and number of people to this form:
If you don't fill out the form, you can still show up!
