To our floodwater volunteers, a sincere and profound THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! As Rocky Ripple starts to work on recovery and repair, we have been informed by FEMA that gathering information on volunteer shift work during the flood event may be able to help with future Public Assistance (PA) expenses.
Costs can be identified for volunteer/donated labor, equipment and materials. These costs can then help us offset the non-federal share of an eligible debris removal or emergency protective measures project. More information available here.
If you could please add your name and the name of any family members who joined you onsite in Rocky Ripple over the weekend, as well as days/hours you were here to help save the town, it would mean a lot. This data will be maintained by the Rocky Ripple Town Council to be shared with FEMA ONLY.
