Saturday Morning Updates

Good Saturday to Everyone! We want to take a moment to pass on a couple of important messages.

A reminder that the Town Council has been working to secure funding to help residents cover some costs incurred by individual households during the August flood. These may include home repair costs as well as non-repair costs (e.g., hotel stay during evacuations, lost wages, etc.) To this end, we are collecting data to estimate residents' current flood-related financial needs. Reach out to your neighbors who may be less computer friendly and make sure they know this resource is availabe to them. Fill out this survey at your earliest convenience: Rocky Ripple Flood Impact Survey

And we have received some very good news for Rocky Ripple from Butler University. After October 31st, Butler University and FC Dynamo Soccer have mutually agreed to part ways. This means that after October 31st, no new soccer camps with FC Dynamo are planned for the future or next year. This is great news for our town and some of the traffic issues.

Butler continues to work with their construction crews to make sure no construction equipment will be entering the neighborhood before 7 AM while the tennis court project moves forward.

And one last thing. We have asked Butler to send out periodic reminders to their students that use the West Fields and park in the I-Lot to remind them they are driving through a residential area and to please be respectful. It never hurts to ask and remind students.
