Good Morning!
We will be regrouping this morning after everyone has got a little sleep. People were working all night saving Rocky Ripple.
We know you want to come back to your houses and check things. Please give us this morning to evaluate where we stand. There are lots of trucks running around delivering sandbags and extra traffic will just make things harder. Plus the levee is still leaking and some roads have water and mud.
What we do know right now.
Gauge was around 15'-10" at 5:30 AM. Still leaking going on. There is going tto be some damage to homes.
Once we regroup, assess what needs ot be done, watch the river, we will be putting out more notices. Please give us a little time.
We will be putting out a call for straw to be brought and spread to Hohlt Park.
