White River High Water Concerns
Many people may have received alerts about flash flooding in our area. Many areas North of us have received several inches of rain the last couple of days.
The CERT team and Town Council will be watching the river gauge and posting updates as needed. Currently the prediction is for White River to peak on Friday at 12 feet 7 inches. Well below flood levels for our town.
We have many good links on our website for everyone to take a look at. These include the river color code warning messages, evacuation plan and a link to the White River gauge in Nora. We are usually 3' lower than what is shown on that gauge.
